I have been involved in the Financial Services industry since an early age, working during my school holidays in the family insurance broking business. I subsequently decided to pursue a career in the industry and graduated with an honours degree in Financial Services in 1993.

About

I now have over 20 years experience in providing face to face financial advice and I still enjoy advising clients on their financial affairs. I pride myself on ensuring that all clients understand the options available and recommending the most suitable solutions to meet their needs and requirements.

I was approached in 2014 by St. James's Place and subsequently accepted their invitation to become a Partner Practice of this prestigious FTSE 100 organisation. The importance that is placed on the client/adviser relationship by St. James's Place is reassuring and refreshing in this increasingly impersonal automated industry.

The role of financial adviser and Director of Kim George Financial Planning Ltd keeps me busy however I do try to spend quality time with my wife Kate and son Alex. We enjoy cycling, walking our dog Lulu and camping has become a favourite summer pastime. I also follow motorsport, rugby and can occasionally be found taking a very long walk around a golf course.
